Save Our Rivers - 2021

Let’s plant, let’s build rainwater storage, let’s protect riparian areas, let’s leave no (waste) footprints, let’s compost, let’s talk to others about a global problem, let’s listen, let’s RESPECT NATURE!

Our idea of environmental protection originates from the Upper Savinja Valley. As an outdoor organisation, we are aware of our impact on the environment. We have a responsibility to care for and work to preserve nature in its original and pure form. We believe in – a better tomorrow – so every year we work with an environmental non-profit organisation to get their slogan and a local primary school to choose the most environmentally friendly and eloquent artwork from a hard-working student.

We show our appreciation for everyone’s participation by designing a logo print and drawings on T-shirts made of environmentally friendly material.

FOR THE 2020 SEASON, WE ARE WORKING WITH THE NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION SAVE OUR RIVERS, WHICH:

– They are fighting for the existence of the rivers of the United Kingdom – UK.

– They raise public awareness with information and knowledge on how to use existing legal structures to fight damming and destruction of rivers.

– They influence conservation decisions by responding to government consultations.

– They insist that every voice fighting for the future of our national parks and wild rivers must be heard.
