Until now, we have been mostly technically inclined to describe the various routes, but this time we will do it more for the soul. Why? – Our girls went on the walk alone. Make no mistake, we are not excluding anyone by writing this, but we have taken the opportunity to experience the fairer sex, because their energy is from Venus.
HIKE TO GOLTE
The girls joined together within the whole of Camp Menina and went on an evening hike to the Golte, not with the aim of reaching the highest possible altitude, hike length or marathon pace, but with the aim of relaxing. But that doesn’t mean they forgot about weather conditions, full equipment and safety in the mountains.
For most of the tensions we feel inside, the best cure is to move in nature. Why? We all know how it feels to breathe in the fresh air after a long day, to listen to the birds singing or to the silence, the rustling of the woods and the whistling of the wind. Spiritually, it is easier for us. But we also know that our bodies are (too) often overloaded/strained, so we need to relieve the strain on our muscles through movement. And it’s easier for us physically.
The “problems” seem smaller
Connecting with nature means connecting with ourselves, but also with the people closest to us. The “problems” seem smaller, the head is sober, the body is relaxed and we are satisfied, especially when we reach the summit. Whether solo or in company.
Our ladies were looking forward to the summit together, mainly because of the expected sunset and therefore a priceless cup of tea with a wonderful view. Warm, homemade tea warms our bodies and calms us down, and tea is also a good way to toast good cheer! Can it get any better? Hikers, you’ll understand what we’re talking about, but for those of you who have your backpacks waiting for you at home to unpack them and walk out the door with them, you’ll definitely come to that realisation.
Of course, everyone has their own way of being active, but a walk in the woods or by the river, or a hike in the high mountains, can be a real meditation and a “prescription” that you give yourself daily. Our heart and body will thank us. But how? They show their gratitude by their health and fitness.
