Balkan River defence - 2019

Our idea of environmental protection originates from the Upper Savinja Valley.

As an outdoor organisation, we are aware of our impact on the environment. We have a responsibility to care for and work to preserve nature in its original and pure form. We believe in – a better tomorrow – so every year we work with an environmental non-profit organisation to get their slogan and a local primary school to choose the most environmentally friendly and eloquent drawing from a student.

To show our appreciation for their cooperation, we design a print on hemp T-shirts.

IN THE 2019 SEASON WE ARE WORKING WITH THE NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION BALKAN RIVER DEFENCE, WHICH:

fights for free-flowing rivers within Europe,

underline that hydropower is an unsustainable source of energy,

want to provide scientific, educational and sporting alternatives to it.
